Why can't I publish? And what "Ready", "Hidden" and "need attention" mean
What stops a product from publishing
Plukio checks these before it publishes a product. On your products list, a draft that can't be published yet says why under its name, so you know before you press Publish:
- Connect Stripe before publishing. Your shop needs a connected Stripe account that can take payments. See Connecting Stripe.
- Needs a shipping profile before publishing. Every physical product needs one. See Shipping profiles.
- digital · no file uploaded yet: a digital product needs at least one file. See Selling digital products.
- That title can't be listed. The title looks like something Plukio doesn't list. Change the title, and check What you can sell.
- Selling is paused right now. Plukio has paused selling for everyone for a while. Try again later.
Published, but not live yet
You can publish products before your shop opens. Until it does, they show Ready, with a note such as "goes live when you open". They also wait while your shop is closed or paused, or while Stripe has turned payments off. Once your shop is open, they show Live. See Shop review.
Hidden
Hidden by Plukio moderation means we've taken the product off the site. Only Plukio can put it back. To ask us about it, email [email protected].
Products that need attention
On Your products, the need attention link shows every product that needs work:
- sold out: a published product with no stock in any variant. Buyers can't buy it until you add stock.
- digital · no file uploaded yet: a digital product with no file.
- hidden by Plukio moderation: see above.
Can't find a product?
