Selling digital products
A digital product is a file buyers download, with nothing to ship. Choose Digital (instant download) as the Kind when you create the product. You can't change the kind later.
Attach your files
- Open the product from Your products.
- In Download files, press Browse files and choose a file.
- Press Attach 1 file.
A product can have up to 4 files, each up to 200 MB. You can attach up to 30 files an hour.
Plukio takes these file types: PDF, ZIP, EPUB, PNG, JPG, GIF, SVG, MP3, WAV, FLAC, STL, OBJ, 3MF, DXF, OTF, TTF, WOFF, WOFF2, PSD, AI and GPX. We check what's inside each file, so a file whose contents don't match its name is refused. For anything else, put it in a ZIP.
Note
You can't publish a digital product until it has at least one file.
What buyers may do with it
In Tax details, choose What the download is, and under What buyers may do with it choose Personal use only or Buyers may use it commercially.
What buyers get
Buyers get every file as soon as their payment goes through. They download them from the page they see after paying, and signed-in buyers also find them in their Library. See Digital downloads.
Your files are private. They're never shown publicly, and each download link works only for a short while.
Removing a file
Press × next to the file. Once someone has bought a file, you can't remove it: buyers keep their downloads.
Tip
Duplicate doesn't copy files to the new product, so attach them again on the copy.
