Closing, reopening or deleting your shop
What you can do depends on whether your shop has opened. You'll find the right option at the bottom of Settings.
Close a shop that has opened
- Go to Settings.
- Under Closing up, press Close and your shop's name.
- If you like, tell us what wasn't working.
- Press Close and your shop's name to confirm.
When your shop is closed:
- Buyers lose your shop page, your listings, checkout and new messages.
- Nothing is deleted, and you can still edit everything.
- If your plan renews on its own, it stops renewing and stays paid until the end of its period.
You can't close while you still have orders to ship. Ship or refund them first. See Refunds and restocking.
Tip
Only taking a break? Press Pause instead in the close dialog. Pausing keeps your page and messages open. See Going away.
The close dialog may also offer you three months of your plan, free, if you leave feedback and stay. It's offered once per shop.
Reopen a closed shop
Press Reopen and your shop's name, in Settings or in the Plukio app. Everything you had published comes back. There's no second review.
You can reopen only while Stripe is taking payments for you. If it isn't, finish your Stripe setup first. If Plukio support took your shop off Plukio, only support can reopen it.
Delete a shop that never opened
A shop that's still a draft, including one sent back from review, can be deleted for good:
- In Settings, under Delete this shop, press Delete and your shop's name.
- Confirm. This can't be undone.
Its drafts and photos are deleted, and its address is freed for someone else.
If your shop is waiting for review, press Withdraw from review first. It becomes a draft again, to edit or delete.
Removing a shop that opened
A shop that has opened can be closed, but not deleted. Deleting your Plukio account closes your shop too, and you can't do it while orders still need shipping. See Deleting your account.
