Shop review: what happens after you submit

Plukio never opens a shop on its own. When you're ready, you send it for review, and a person at Plukio looks at it by hand. Your shop opens the moment it's approved.

What you need before you can submit

The Open up card on your dashboard at plukio.com/sell lists what's still missing. Submit for review works once you have:

1. Stripe connected, with payments switched on. See Connecting Stripe.
2. Tax details on file, in Settings. See Tax details and VAT.
3. At least one product. An empty shop can't open.
4. A few lines in About your shop: who you are, what you make, and where else you sell. Only the reviewer reads this; buyers never see it. Keep it under 2,000 characters.

While you wait

• Your dashboard says In review, and you get an email confirming what you sent.
• There's no set time, because a person reads every new shop. You'll get an email either way.
• Keep adding and publishing products. Everything you've published goes live at once when the shop opens.
• Anyone who visits your shop's address sees an Opening soon page until then.

What the reviewer looks at

They read what you sent and look at your published products. They're checking that your shop sells things you make yourself, and nothing on the list of things you can't sell.

If it's approved

You get an email saying Your shop is open, with your shop's address. Your published products are visible to buyers straight away.

If something needs a change

You get an email saying Your shop needs a change, with a note from the reviewer. Your shop goes back to draft and your dashboard shows Changes requested. Nothing is deleted.

1. Open your dashboard. The reviewer's note is on the first card, under From the reviewer.
2. Fix it where it lives: shop details, your products, or your tax details.
3. Update your About text if you need to, and select Resubmit for review.

You can resubmit as many times as you need.

Changing your mind

While your shop is waiting, you can take it back. Go to Settings and select Withdraw from review. Your shop becomes a draft again, to edit or delete.
