Fees for selling on Plukio
Plukio's fees are the fee on each sale and, if you choose it, the price of the Paid plan. Stripe, which processes your buyers' payments, bills its own fees to your Stripe account. There's no fee to list a product.
The fee on each sale
When a buyer checks out, Plukio takes a percentage of the order's total, which is the items plus shipping. The percentage depends on your plan:
| Plan | Fee on each sale | Plan price |
|---|---|---|
| Free | 6% | Nothing |
| Paid | 1% | $19 every 30 days (the launch price) |
Every shop starts on Free, with no limit on products. The two plans differ only in the fee. Your Plan page shows the fee you pay now.
The fee comes out of the payment when the buyer pays, so you never get a bill for it. Fees are rounded down to the cent (to the whole unit in currencies without cents, such as the yen).
Tip
At the launch price, Paid costs less once your sales pass about $380 in 30 days. See Free vs Paid to work out which suits your shop.
Stripe's fees
Your payments go to your own Stripe account, and Stripe charges its processing fees to that account directly. Plukio doesn't set them. You can see them in your Stripe dashboard: choose Open Stripe on your dashboard.
Currency
Your shop prices and charges in its own currency, and buyers pay in that currency. Plukio doesn't convert the payment or add a conversion charge.
When you refund
When you refund an order, or part of one, Plukio gives back its fee on the part you refunded. See Refunds and restocking.
Where to see what you paid
Every fee Plukio charged you, and each Paid plan payment, is on your fee statement. Plukio charges no VAT, GST or sales tax on these fees.
