Checking out on Plukio

Makers whose pages are at plukio.com/makers sell on Plukio itself. You pay here, through Stripe, and the money goes straight to the maker.

Buy one item now

  1. On the item's page, choose any options and the quantity. For something that ships, pick a country under Ships to.
  2. Press Buy now. You go to Stripe's secure checkout page.

Buy several things from one maker

  1. Press Add to cart on each item.
  2. Open your Bag. Under Ready to check out, each maker has its own card.
  3. Pick a country under Ships to. The card shows the shipping and the total you'll pay.
  4. Press Check out with and the maker's name.

Each maker checks out on their own, so a Bag with two makers in it is two checkouts. If a maker doesn't ship to the country you picked, the card says so and the button reads Pick a country they ship to.

On Stripe's checkout page

You give your email, a billing address, and, for something that ships, a shipping address in the country you picked. There's also a place for a business tax ID, if you have one. You pay in the maker's currency.

Stripe shows the ways you can pay for that order. The Bag shows the marks for Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, Apple Pay, Google Pay and Link. Your card details go to Stripe directly: Plukio never sees your card.

We hold the pieces for you for 30 minutes while you pay. Once Stripe confirms the payment, your order page says Order confirmed, and a receipt goes to your email.

Do I need an account?

Not on the web. Your confirmation email has a link to your order. Sign in later with the same email and the order joins your account. See Finding your order.

In the iPhone and Android apps, you sign in before you add to your Bag or check out. Stripe's checkout page opens inside the app.
