Your privacy and your data

The Privacy Policy is the full, exact answer. This page is the short version.

What we keep about you

• Your account: your email address, your display name and your currency. There's no password, so we never have one to keep.
• What you save: favorites, follows, collections and your shopping list.
• What you write: messages, reviews, reports and emails to support.
• How Plukio is used: what people search for, which listings they open and which shops they click through to. On the web these are kept under a random session identifier, not your account. In the apps, listing views are kept against your signed-in account.

The other side of a conversation sees your display name and your messages, never your email address. We don't sell your personal information.

Cookies and advertising

Plukio sets one cookie of its own, and it's cleared when your browser session ends. Your recently viewed list stays in your own browser and is never sent to us.

We also run advertising networks' measurement code, which sets their own cookies. It doesn't run for you if:

• your browser sends the Global Privacy Control signal, or
• you're in the EEA, the United Kingdom or Switzerland.

How long we keep it

• Your account information, for as long as you have an account.
• Raw search and listing-view records for about 90 days, and click records for about six months. After that we keep only totals.
• A report's copy of a conversation or listing, for 180 days after the review.

When you delete your account, your personal information is deleted right away, and copies in our backups within 30 days. Some things stay, like your reviews and order records. See Deleting your account.

Get a copy, correct or delete your data

Email [email protected] to ask for a copy of your data, to correct it, or to use any other right the Privacy Policy lists, including your rights in the EEA, the UK and Switzerland, and California's CCPA. There's no download button: a person handles each request.

You can delete your account yourself at any time. Want a copy first? Ask for it before you delete.
