Your shop name and address
Your shop has two addresses, and both follow your shop name:
- plukio.com/makers/your-shop, your shop page.
- your-shop.plukio.com, a short one that's easy to say out loud. It opens the same page.
You'll find both in Settings, under Shop address, each with a button to copy it.
Changing your shop name
- Go to Settings.
- Under Shop details, change Shop name.
- Press Save changes.
- If the new name gives your shop a new address, we show you the old and new address first. Press Save and change address to go ahead, or Never mind.
You can also do this in the Plukio app, in Shop settings.
The 30-day rule
Because the name and the address move together, you can change a name that moves your address once every 30 days. Settings tells you when your next change is allowed. A change that doesn't alter the address, such as different capital letters, saves right away.
Old links keep working
When your address changes, your old address redirects to the new one, forever. No other shop can ever take your old address. You can switch back to an old address of your own.
Names we can't accept
A shop name can be up to 120 characters. It can't include Plukio, staff words like Support or Admin, or a payment or platform brand like Stripe or Shopify. It also can't be a web or email address, or a name whose address another shop already uses.
Note
If you register a shop and don't send it for review within 30 days, we release its address so another seller can use the name. You keep the shop and everything in it, and you can pick a new address straight away.
Where you ship from
Also under Shop details, Ships from sets the place buyers see on your shop page. A city and region are optional, and Don't show hides it. The country you sell from, and your shop's currency, are set when you open the shop and can't change.
Your own domain
You can't connect a domain you own to your Plukio shop. Share your Plukio address instead.
