What is Plukio?

Plukio is a search engine and directory for independent shops that sell handmade and small-batch goods. Instead of visiting dozens of shop websites one by one, you search them all in one place.

Where the shops come from

Most shops on Plukio sell on their own websites, built on platforms like Shopify, Squarespace, Payhip, Fourthwall, WooCommerce and Big Cartel. Plukio reads the pages those shops already show the public and lists their items, then checks back regularly so prices and stock stay close to the shop's own site.

When you find something you want, Plukio sends you to the shop's website to buy it. See How buying works.

Do I need an account?

No. You can browse and search without one. With an account you can save favorites, follow shops, make collections, write reviews and message shops. Signing in takes an email address and no password: see Signing in.

Is there an app?

Yes, for iPhone and Android. You can browse the apps without signing in, and they ask you to sign in only when you do something that needs an account, like saving a favorite.
