Plukio on iPhone and Android
Plukio has an app for iPhone and one for Android. They show the same shops and items as the website, and work almost the same way on both phones.
The tabs
Both apps have five tabs, and they're the same whether you're signed in or not:
- Home: where the app opens, with things to browse.
- Shop: search, categories, and Explore more, which opens Discover (the app's version of the website's budget and gift pages).
- Saved: your Favorites, the shops you're Following, and your Collections.
- Bag: everything you mean to buy.
- Settings: your account, your messages, your currency, and suggesting a shop.
What needs an account
You can use Home and Shop without signing in. When you do something that needs an account, like tapping the heart, following a shop, saving to a collection or adding to your list, the app asks you to sign in first. Once you're signed in, it finishes what you tapped. Until you sign in, the Saved and Bag tabs just show a Sign in button.
Note
On the website, you can keep a shopping list without an account. In the apps, the list needs you to sign in. See Your bag and shopping list.
Where things are
- Your currency: Settings, then Prices, then Currency. You see this once you're signed in. See Prices in your currency.
- Suggesting a shop: Settings, then Shops, then Suggest a shop. Your suggestions are under My submissions.
How the apps differ from the website
- Finding a shop by name: the website has a full list of shops at plukio.com/shops. The apps don't. Instead, when you type in the search box, matching shops show up under Shops.
- Sold-out pieces: app search shows items that are in stock, and there's no switch to include sold-out pieces. A house's scent list is the exception: it lists sold-out scents too, greyed out, with an In stock switch to hide them.
- The games at plukio.com/games are on the website only.
Links from emails and messages
On iPhone, a sign-in link opens in the app if you have it. See Signing in. Other Plukio links open in your browser.
When you tap Buy at and the shop's name, the shop's own website opens. On iPhone it opens inside the app, and on Android in a browser tab.
