Removing your shop from Plukio
Plukio lists shops by reading the pages they already show the public. Its crawler is
called PlukioBot, and it always follows your robots.txt. You can take your shop off
Plukio in either of two ways. Neither needs an account, and neither needs a reason.
Option 1: a robots.txt rule
Add this to your shop's robots.txt:
User-agent: PlukioBot
Disallow: /
PlukioBot stops crawling, and your shop is removed from Plukio automatically. On Shopify,
the file to edit is robots.txt.liquid, under Online Store.
Squarespace, Payhip and Fourthwall manage robots.txt for you, so you can't add the rule
yourself there. Use option 2.
Option 2: email us
Email [email protected] from your shop's domain and we'll remove it by hand.
Privacy rights
Either option is also how you object to Plukio holding your shop's information, or ask for it to be erased, under data protection law. You don't need to say which law applies. See plukio.com/bot for what PlukioBot reads and why.
Just want a listing fixed?
Plukio copies your listings from your website and checks back regularly. Change it on your site and Plukio catches up.
