Collections and sharing your picks

A collection is a named set of items and shops, like "Cabin weekend" or "Gift ideas for Sam". Each one has its own link you can share. You need to be signed in to make one.

Making a collection

1. Go to Collections in your account menu.
2. Type a name in Start a collection and press Create.

You can also make one while saving something: type a name in the New collection box in the saving panel and press Create & save.

Saving to a collection

On an item's page, choose Save to a collection. On a shop's page, choose Save. Then pick one or more collections. On an item's page, the button then says how many of your collections it's in.

You can have up to 20 collections, each holding up to 100 things.

Sharing it

Every collection can be seen by anyone with its link, from the moment you make it. There's no private setting, so share the link only with people you want to see it.

• On your Collections page, press Copy link on a collection.
• On the collection's own page, press Copy link, or Show link to see it.

People who open your link don't see your name or anything else about you. Collections aren't listed anywhere on Plukio and don't show up in search engines, so people only find one through its link.

Visitors see only what's in stock. When something you saved sells out, it stays in the collection, under Not currently available, which only you can see. You can remove it from there.

Editing and deleting

• On the collection's page, press Edit to change its title or add a line about it.
• On your Collections page, press Delete. Deleting a collection doesn't touch the items or shops in it.

Getting it on the front page

Think your collection deserves a wider audience? On its page, fill in Think it belongs on the front page? if you like, and press Submit for featuring. Your Collections page then shows Waiting to be looked at, Featured or Not this time.

In the apps

Tap the bookmark icon on an item or shop to save it. Your collections are in the Saved tab, under Collections, where you can edit them and share their links.
